Background Info
Peppers are a diverse group of plants which contain capsaicinoids. This is especially true of chili peppers which has extraordinary anti-inflammatory, analgesic, anti-cancer, heart-healthy effects.
In addition to capsaicin, chilies are high in antioxidant carotenes and flavonoids, and contain about twice the amount of vitamin C found in citrus fruits. Peppers also contains vitamin A, beta-carotene as well as B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9 (folic acid), alpha-tocopherol (vitamin E), cobalt and zinc.
Capsicum is a catalyst herb. Its stimulating properties speed the absorption and effectiveness of any herbs taken in combination with it e.g. Capsicum combined with garlic & parsley can help lower blood pressure.
Oral use of Cayenne might reduce the pain of minor indigestion (dyspepsia). Some evidence suggests that oral use of cayenne or capsaicin can protect the stomach against ulcers caused by anti-inflammatory drugs.

They help remove toxins from the body, relieve gastrointestinal problems including bleeding ulcers, colic, dyspepsia, flatulence and even diarrhoea.
